Subjective, objective: This is an uncommon complaint in people suffering from anxiety. One of the physical symptoms of anxiety is "hot flashes" ...It happens in both makes and females, so the feeling is of being hot but the actual body temperature is normal...Usually people have other concomitant physical symptoms of anxiety at the same time. Feeling hot?!: What you have noticed is the difference between "running a fever" (being febrile in medical language), and "feeling feverish." the former points to having an elevated body temperature confirmed by thermometer, while the later describe the sensation of having a high temperature when the thermometer says you don't. Both bodily states can mean infection, and neither should be ignored.
