Maybe not but...: Maybe not.....We used to be more cavalier about contrast injections 20 years ago. While a createnine of over 2.0 would raise red flags, when studies such as angiograms were necessary we did them. Visipaque may be better tolerated than the older contrast media. They need to follow createnine clearance to see if damage occured and if it is permenant.
