Zoloft (sertraline): Or sertraline is an ssri antidepressant. Typically patients are started on 50 mg and increased by 25 mg up to 200 mg. Get help if you have allergic reactions such as skin rash, hives, difficulty breathing, etc. This can be a very good medication for depression or anxiety. Caution is advised if taking other antidepressants, st johns wort, or triptans (for migraines). Discuss with doc!

Zoloft (sertraline): If prescribed by your doctor who diagnosed major depression, yes, up to 200mg. Daily is therapeutic.
