Consult your doctor: It could be gum irritation or infection. Please ask you orthodontist to check and follow up on this.

Depends: It could be something very minor that will heal after the braces removal. It could also be what we call a dehiscence, which is a hole in the gum where there is a clefting or loss of underlying bone. This may be an underlying anatomical problem or it may be because of incorrect root torque or improper root angulation causing loss of bone (and a hole in the gum) in that area. Check with dds/dmd.

Depends: Depending on your age and tooth development- it could be an erupting tooth. It could also be caused by trauma from a bracket or wire because it is impossible to answer without seeing the area you would need to be seen by your dentist or orthodontist to know for sure.

See ortho: An actual "hole" in the gum tissue could be one of a variety of issues - all of which warrant a visit with your orthodontist. Not sure i'd wait for 6 more days on this one.

Not sure: It could be a lot of things. Be sure to show it to your dentist when you get your braces off.
