Yes, but it doesn't : Matter if you read the newspaper, a novel or a children's book till she can focus on pictures in a hard-paged baby book at 3-4 months. In behavioral terms, if you read & cuddle , you pair the two activities in a positive way. Use as part of a consistent bedtime routine, then wipe out her mouth after the last feed & put her to sleep in her own bed on her back, drowsy but awake. Yep, this early.
