A member asked:

Can happiness and a good mood make it easier to deal with pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Dealing with pain is difficult. If from a psychological perspective you are unhappy, depressed, have mood issues, it can be much harder to cope with that same pain. To manage chronic pain, you have to take a multidisciplinary approach that addresses both the mind and body.
