Yes: certain sights and sounds can make us feel better; conversely, they can also elicit bad feelings or mood.

Elevated mood: Sounds & smells are stimulants and if they positively impact you, then it's normal and desired. Any excessive reaction that translates in exaggerated elation or hyper behavior is abnormal but if that's not the issue, then I'd not worry about it.
