Yes: Vitamins are medications when they are used to treat a given condition caused by the deficiency of that vitamin. By definition, a vitamin is a substance that needs to be present in a very small quantity to maintain health. "vita" life, "min" miniscule or very small. Examples being scurvy, the deficiency of vitamin c, or rickets the deficiency of vitamin d.
