A cause of RUQ pain.: The gallbladder may not contract properly or can be painful when contracting s it is stimulated by a hormone cck when we eat to contract. The treatment and diagnosis can be somewhat controversial.

Dysmotility: Dyskinesia of the gall bladder or extrahepatic biliary duct at entrance into duodennum, small bowel, is usually related to poor contractility or spasm. This can cause pain. The treatment is sometimes medical, surgery, or interventional by endoscopy.

See below: It is a problem with the ducts or tubes connecting your liver and gallbladder to the small intestine and pancreas. When there is hepatobiliary dyskinesia, the bile produced in the liver cannot flow appropriately and becomes sluggish. This may cause symptoms of nausea and abdominal pain after meals.

Gallbladder...: Hepatobiliary dyskinesia can be diagnosed by hida scan with cck. Hepatobiliary dyskinesia often means that the gallbladder is not contracting properly. Gallbladder ejection fraction can be calculated on hida scan.
