Time to seek help: Arthrogryposis is a DX that includes a variety of conditions that have a varied recurrence risk. The most common form due to amyotonia is sporadic & unlikely to recur. Other forms have dominant, recessive, x-linked or sporadic patterns. I would find a geneticist to review the first case & try to come up with specifics based on what that case reveals. They are often found at children's hospital.

Ask the Gene Tests : There are about 15 kind of arthogryposis, each had different method of transmission, ask for genetic consoling before getting pregnant, he will give idea about the chances.
