Probably not: Candida infections of the mouth and esophagus are frequent findings in patients with hiv/aids, but candida infections especially of the mouth and skin are very common in patients with normal immunity especially those who have recently taken antibiotics. The vast majority of people with candida infections do not have hiv/aids.
