PREGNANCY: Why would the mother ingest bath salts during pregnancy? Anything taken during pregnancy can affect the baby especially during the first trimester.

Birth defects: There are a number of substances that are abused by inhaling. They can cause birth defects, depending on which one you use. Please do not sniff when you are pregnant, or even if you are not pregnant! this is a very dangerous habit.

Autosomal recessive: If the mother has ncah and the father is not a carrier, then the baby would be a carrier. This would mean that they would not have NCAH

Should Not: Some men will eat more during their spouse's pregnancy as there is more food around. But, hormonally there should be no change. It is just like some women will eat more in company as compared to when they are alone.
