Birth defects: There are a number of substances that are abused by inhaling. They can cause birth defects, depending on which one you use. Please do not sniff when you are pregnant, or even if you are not pregnant! this is a very dangerous habit.

Selective toxin: These products most often damage the nerves (brain) in anyone that huffs.This would include the brain of any baby that shared a circulation with the huffer. Once damaged these cells do not heal or regenerate. Some of these products are also toxic to the liver. The accumulated effect is bad for both, but would very by the timing of exposure in pregnancy and the amount.
