Normal / near norma: For your age, gender, and creatinine of 0.9 - you seem to have normal kidney function or near normal. This is based on presumed body weight of about 70-75 kg. If you are 60 kg or near, you probably have mild kidney disease. If your urinalysis is normal then you are doing okay with these values unless you have a urinary complaint that will need to be explored. Non-black race is dealt with as white.

Limited usefulness: If the units are mg/dl, this is a low-normal creatinine for a man, confirming good kidney function. This pathologist believes, with many nephrologists, that estimates of glomerular filtration rates from creatinine are of limited value for individuals, especially since the more muscular you are, the higher it normally runs.
