Hypercalcemia: Blood calcium levels above the normal range of 9-10.5 mg./dl. Can be due to excess skeletal calcium release, increase intestinal calcium absorption, or decrease renal calcium excretion. Some effects are; renal or biliary stones, bone pain, abdominal pain, nausea/vomiting, polyurea, depression/anxiety/cognitive deficits/insomnia.
