Is it possible for your glands to swell if allergic to toothpaste?

No: A true allergic reaction would start by causing you to get a red itchy rash. If it got worse it could go as far as making it hard to breathe. Swollen glands come from an infectious process.

No: But there are different preservatives in different toothpastes that might make it feel like the tongue is swollen, or a tingling in the mouth. These are all short lived by changing the toothpaste.
