Brush and floss: The best products for dental care are the good old toothbrush and floss. I recommend a brush with soft or extra soft bristles and use a Fluoride containing toothpaste. There are many types of floss, i recommend unwaxed, waxed, or woven as these are better at plaque removal than a satin floss.

Best Dental Products: -toothbrush with a soft bristles and a compact head (should be changed monthly and after recovering from cold, flu, mouth sores, etc.) - toothpaste with Fluoride (change your toothpaste brand and flavor regularly) -floss (preferably not the satin kind) - waterpik for oral irrigation -bacteria fighting mouth rinses -peroxyl mouthwash by colgate for relieving canker sores and/or mouth sores.

Water pik: Brushing and flossing have their place, but my opinion is that you also need to use water jet devices and interdental brushes to truly get the bacteria and food particles cleared out from between the teeth above and below the gum line. Floss will only get slightly under the gum tissue, water jet devices when used properly will do a better job. Talk to your dentist.

There are several: Sonicare toothbrush, monofilament floss, ada accepted toothpaste. For those of you with food traps i would also recommend an interproximal small brush that is shaped either like a christmas tree or a rod. Tongue scrapers are a plus.
