Lack of blinking: Lack of blinking can be caused by a facial injury to one of several of the cranial nerves. Lack of blinking can allow the delicate tissues of the front of the eye (cornea) to dry out and cause permanent damage. This requires a visit, as soon as possible to an ophthalmologist. (eye md).
