Take out contacts: Gently take them out. Hopefully you have some artificial tears which you can use to soothe your eyes. Cool compresses may help your eyelids to become less swollen. But, if your eyes don't start to improve and your pain is significant, or if your vision has changed, you may need to see an eye md for treatment. Usually just by resting your eyes without the contact lenses in will allow resolution.

Artificial Tears : Sleeping in your contact lenses can cause a mild injury to the corneal epithelium, which can heal quickly if there is no infection. If your eyes are not painful, and your vision with eyeglasses is the same, you can use ice packs and perhaps Aspirin to reduce the swelling. If you have pain, a discharge or vision loss, see your eye doctor immediately. Artificial tears will soothe your eyes.
