Could be...: There are a number of things that can cause swelling in the foot. This is a very nonspecific symptom. See your pmd first. If they cannot successfully treat it i recommend that someone with swelling should be seen by orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon for a definitive diagnosis. Further work-up: If your feet are swollen, you should see a doctor for further work-up. In addition to foot or ankle problems it could be due to heart, liver or kidney problems. Also may be due to the veins in your legs not working appropriately.
