Not dangerous: Class 1 led products are defined as being "safe under all conditions of normal use", and the vast majority of led's fall into this category. However, it is also recommended not stare at the led or shine the led into your eyes or those of another person. Class 1 led products should also not be used by children without adult supervision. Led's should have no risk of causing cataract.
