Ice: There are a number of causes of bursitis. To deal with the pain start with icing your shoulder for 10-15 min , 3-4 times each day. Also avoid doing activities over chest level. If you spend lots of time at the computer make sure your elbows are at your side while you are typing/mousing. You can take nsaids, but beware of taking too much or for too long. If you don't improve get evaluated by an md.
