A member asked:

How can i treat chronic shoulder bursitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Therapy, injections: Shoulder bursitis generally responds well to conservative care including nsaids, physical therapy, icing, a home shoulder exercise program and occasionally injections. People who fail to improve with 4-6 months of conservative care may require surgical treatment which is generally done arthroscopically.
