Possibly: If this has been going on for a while, see your doctor for an evaluation. It could be asthma related, but also may be due to allergies, infection leading to bronchitis or other lung issues.

Not likely: Not sure about any connection. Albuterol is generally used for attacks and not used regularly like "controller" inhalers.
