Pimples: Sounds like follicular is where a bacteria or yeast or fungus gets into the "pores". Shaving with an unclean razor might provoke it.

Yes: It could be. Try some over the counter neosporin - it could help. You might have folliculitis which is infection of the hair follicles.

Benzoyl peroxide: Neither neosporin nor Bacitracin are legitimate therapy for anything & should not be sold.. If it does not clear with 2% or 5% otc benzoyl peroxide, see your dr. For oral doxycycline. Shave very gently.
