Sinus or tooth....: Given the short description of symptoms, several possibilities come to mind. You could have an ear or sinus infection that is referring pain to your tooth. Or you could have toothache that is referring pain to your ear . Best to see your md or dds to rule out either or both. An xray of your tooth is needed.

Referred Pain: In case of a lower molar infection, the pain can be referred to the ear and cause discomfort or pain. Please see your dentist so they can take either a panoramic x-ray or a periapical if you just had a recent pano. A pulp test will be done as well. If it is not of dental origin, you maybe referred to an md/ eent. Goodluck!
