A member asked:

I've seen a lot of dry eye supplements on the market from theratears, to biotears, to theralife, to generic fish oil and flax oil, do these work?

Dry eyes: There are various different dry eye treatments but they are all temporary fixes. It's good to get at the root of the problem such as plugged ducts or allergic inflammation of area where eyelashes are. A good home treatment is warm wash cloth compresses on each eye for 5-10 minutes to help the glands/ducts open up. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/dry-eyes/ds00463/dsection=lifestyle-and-home-rem.
