After Lasik or PRK?: If you had laser refractive surgery such as lasik or prk, the eyes should have mostly healed by now. Dry eye after lasik is a significant problem, as the tear production is reduced due to decreased sensation from the flap creation. This may affect the vision more than cause other symptoms of dryness. You should have the eyes rechecked for residual refractive error, dry eye, and other problems.
