Will It Last Long?: I assume your concern is the lingering presence if tinnitus 4 weeks after stopping wellbutrin (bupropion). This is considered a common side effect with wellbutrin (bupropion) and it usually disappears when the medication is stopped. There are a small number of cases where the side effect has persisted for a long time. Since there are many causes of tinnitus, see your md or an ear, nose and throat specialist soon.
