Unable to answer: The doctor(s) who manage a child's oxygen or ventilator settings will give parents very specific guidelines on how to adjust the settings. Every child is different. Sometimes doctor's adjust settings according to the oxygen saturation, while other times respiratory rate or carbon dioxide levels are also a factor. Sometimes parents are allowed to change settings only after contacting the doctor.

Talk to doctor: This question is too difficult to answer in isolation. Many variables such as the patient's age, underlying medical condition(s), baseline level of respiratory/oxgen support, and other surrounding health issues may be part of this discussion. Contact the person's physician to discuss the patient's status.

Why ????????????: Any sat over 94 is considered normal as is a respiratory rate of 35-45 in many kids, depending on the situation. This is an issue best handled with a doc who has the full history, exam and understanding of the kids condition, not an internet consultant.
