When i was taking huge doses of vitamin c, my iron levels went up, are they related?

Yes in part: Linus pauling suggested high doses of vitamin c will affect iron absorption but the levels have to be sufficiently high in doses...Most vitamin c preparations in high doses upset the GI tract...Recommend www.Wellnessplus.Org. At 3000 mg daily.
