Dr. Leonard Rubinstein

Leonard A. Rubinstein, M.D. completed his Doctorate in Medicine at the age of 22 at the Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel University). Residency years in Internal Medicine and in General Surgery. Sub-specialty training in Otorhinolaryngology (Ears, Nose, Throat), Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Post-Residency Fellowship-level training in Body Contouring Cosmetic Surgery and in Anti-Aging Medicine and became Board Certified by the International Board of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, the International Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Rubinstein is known for his development and promotion of a uniquely Integrative (holistic) approach to the practice of his specialties of Otorhinolaryngology, Cosmetic Surgery and Rejuvenation Medicine in which he encourages patients and physicians to embrace a comprehensive approach to Image Enhancement and Wellness together. He assists patients in optimizing their internal health to support their "new refreshed and rejuvenated appearance", achieving Beauty and Wellness from the "Inside-Out". Dr. Rubinstein is a Full Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the International Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Rubinstein has served as Medical Director of the Gulf Coast Speech and Hearing Center, the Gulf Coast Cosmetic Surgery Center (a Florida State-registered, State-inspected and State-licensed in-office Level III surgical facility), the Allergy Clinic of Sarasota (a CLIA-certified in-office in-vitro allergy testing laboratory), and Hearing Aids, Inc. Dr. Rubinstein served as a Federal Medical Officer in the National Disaster Medical Systems (part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, formerly under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security) and served as Chief Medical Officer in Charge of Rescue Operations and Triage at Hurricanes Katrina and Rita on behalf of the U.S. Federal Government. He serves as a Florida State Emergency Medical Systems Medical Officer. The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery is a professional medical society whose members are dedicated to patient safety and physician education in Cosmetic Surgery; it also fosters, promotes, supports, augments, develops and encourages the science, art and practice of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Rubinstein has been in practice in Sarasota, Florida, and in Miami, Florida, as well as in several international locations where his integrative unique techniques are performed and doctors from around the world come to learn.
