Activity: Activity above and beyond what you are used to may promote soreness. The good news is that if you are healthy and are not overdoing it, your muscles will usully get conditioned to do more. Make sure you stretch carefully and thoughtfully and stay limber. And warm up sore muscles and cool down tired ones , both with activity and thermally if injured.
