Personality: The fibromyalgia stereotype is generally about a type a personality, which refers to someone who's highly driven, a perfectionist and intense. While that's not exactly synonymous with ice, logically it does seem that we'd see a large overlap between the two. The treatment should be tailored to the individual patient by addressing exercise, diet and psychological aspects as well as drugs.

This Week : The "first test" for fibromyalgia was just announced. This test purports to corral the diagnosis and causation of fibromyalgia into immunology arena. The test measures comparative cytokine levels & imputes an immune-mediated disease. This is scientific hubris. The measurements might very well be effects and not causes; along with substance p. The test will likely generate millions in sales.
