Reshaping: If the cause of your enlarged gum tissue is genetic, ton inflammatory, the best solution may be reshaping the tissues. See a periodontist, a specialist in gum treatment, for the best solution to your problem.

Several possibilitie: Could be due to mouth breathing, hereditary short teeth or overbite, due to a drug such as dilantin, due to hormones and possibly your gums were not healthy before and they are now fibrotic - scarred tissue. If situation is really bad you can have your gums trimmed - best to know the cause first before treating.

See periodontist: Depends upon where these are, and if they are medically related. See a periodontist (gum specialist) to evaluate your condition and see if you are a candidate for tissue surgery. If so, your problem may soon be a thing of the past.
