No: An IUI is a procedure where washed sperm is placed through the cervix and placed at the very top of the uterus close to the fallopian tubes to help conception. A hsg is a diagnostic procedure were dye is flushed through the cervix into the uterus and hopefully out the fallopian tubes in order to assess whether the female anatomy is normal.
