What is more painful iui or the hsg test? my wife already did the hsg and is hesitant to do the iui. her pain threshold is pretty low.

IUI isn't bad: All women dislike the hsg, althoguh the experience does vary. In 20 years I have never once not heard a woman say the IUI is much easier than the hsg. I tell my patients to assume it will feel no worse than a pap smear, and not one has disagreed with me afterward.
