Exercise/NSAID: The rotator cuff is the work horse for the shoulder. It is made up of four muscle/tendons. If injured, and deemed not torn, the standard treatment focuses on calming down the inflammation, avoiding aggravating activities, and restrengthening. Rotator cuff exercises are typically instructed by a physiotherapist but targeted programs for the rotator cuff can be found on the internet as well.
