No not for drugs: Pre admission testing of urine tests for sugar, protein, acetone, whhie cells, blood and any evidence of infection drug testing including for marijuana is not done in pat.

Health/no: Your routine pre-op urinalysis looks for hidden evidence of poor kidney function or other unexpected health issues that should delay or would impact the surgery to be performed.It is not a drug test. In most localities you must actually give written permission to any entity that would test you for drugs.
