How long can meconium or cord testing detect marijuana use. if i smoked once in week 17, what are the odds this use will be detected?

Testing for drugs is not routine but may be required if any of the staff suspect prior use. Meconium can retain evidence of exposure from any drug after 12 weeks. Whether or not it would pick up a single brief exposure like this would depend on the sensitivity of the equipment, but likely not. We don't look at cord blood.
