Hcg levels: Preg is "dated" by first day of last menses. "a wk pregnant" is technically before conception, (typically around ovulation @ day 14 depending your cycle length). You'd be "3 weeks" "ega" est. Gestational age if conception a week ago. Nml HCG doubles every 48-72 hours till 8-11 weeks ega. Rough:3 wks: 5-50 4wk 5-486, 5wk:18-7340 (labs vary don't fret early variation common, us can confirm ega).
