Oral hygeine: A combination of good oral hygiene (i.e. Flossing, brushing both teeth and tongue and using some form of oral rinse) along with dietary modification (avoiding things that promote acid reflux, such as peppermint, chocolate and alcohol) can help reduce halitosis (bad breath). And if you smoke, stop!
