Doctor can evaluate: A person with cough and congestion, not better on Amoxicillin and zithromax z-pack, can be re-evaluated by a doctor. Possible problems include: viral illness (not bacterial), real influenza (the flu), heart disease, pneumonia, or other bacterial infection needing antibiotics by I.V. Or injection, etc... The doctor may order x-rays of the chest, neck, sinuses, etc... Blood tests may be needed, too.

Allergy?: These symptoms may represent allergy. You probably should be evaluated for allergy since the treatment is different and antibiotics are not indicated. See your doctor again!
