My 8 yr old has been sick for 5 weeks! been to drs 2x. nose congestion, wet cough, earache. out on amoxicillin. did nothing. took zyrtec. nothing. no fever. im so worried! help?

This sounds like a somewhat prolonged viral infection, perhaps with an allergic component. Probably not dangerous at all, but discuss with the pediatrician and follow her advice. If she doesn't have clear answers or seems uncertain, feel free to ask for second opinion from a pulmonary (lung disease) or infectious diseases specialist. Good luck.
