Sperm test first ...: 6 months isn't too long trying, but i'm guessing you got pregnant quickly with your first child. Your partner may have a lower sperm count than before - start with a semen analysis for him. If it's normal you should get checked for blocked tubes with a hsg test, especially if your child was a c/section, and for low egg supply (low ovarian reserve) if it's been a few years since your 1st child.
