Progesterone Dose: Depending on your Progesterone dose, 50 mg per day (low), 200 mg per day (high) it might take 2 or 4-5 days, respectively before you see any bleeding. Retest with an urine pregnancy test if no bleeding in 5 days after stopping your Progesterone suppositories.

Ovulation : Sometimes it can take up to 5 days after stopping the Progesterone that the period starts. It is the drop in the Progesterone level that signals the lining of the uterus to shed.
