See below: If your medical doctor says you should stay on the antibiotic..Stay on the antibiotic..In many instances people that have had to take antibiotics for mitral valve reguritation it is not up to your dentist but your physican to make that decision.

Ask your physician: The new updates suggested less use of antibiotic for pre-medication. You need to ask your physician or cardiologist if they advise you to still take it.
