MVP: The new recommendations are against antibiotic prophylaxis unless you have MVP with a murmur. Talk to your doctor about it. Take care!

MVP: Current protocol for MVP does not require antibiotic prophylaxis. However, it is the responsibility of your own treating dentist in consultation with your Cardiologist or PCP to make these decisions. We are not privy to your complete medical and dental history nor to the specifics for each procedure and therefore should not advise you what to do over the internet.
