Just few causes : Causes of acute red and swollen lips are more common such as angioedema, herpes, allergy/beesting etc.. Yours is considered chronic and few causes such as crohn's disease, melkersson-rosenthal syndrome, pink-puffer variant of COPD (chronic obstructive lung disease) etc. It seems this is bothering you, i recommend seeing doc for an evaluation.
