MASTITIS: Irritation, introduction of infection through sucking and trauma to affected breast.

Mastitis: There are 2 types of mastitis: 1- lactational, breast feeding related 2- non lactational: could be related to trauma to breast, infections elsewhere in the body, e.g. Uti, teeth work, sinusitis, etc.
